The Laurie Cameron Scholarship, established in 2006 in memory of Laurie Cameron C.B.E., Q.S.M., supports students at Te Herenga Waka Victoria University of Wellington researching the interactions between the public and private sectors in policy and management, reflecting Cameron’s commitment to ethical governance and private sector engagement.

Eligibility Criteria of Laurie Cameron Scholarship

  • Open to students at Te Herenga Waka Victoria University of Wellington researching public-private sector interactions in policy and management, including those in the School of Government’s post-experience Master’s programmes, or pursuing a Master of Commerce and Administration or Master of Arts.
  • PhD students studying public-private sector relations in policy and management are also eligible.

Selection Criteria

  • Applicants must be researching public-private sector interactions in policy and management at Te Herenga Waka Victoria University of Wellington and enrolled in a relevant Master’s programme (School of Government post-experience programmes, Master of Commerce and Administration, or Master of Arts).
  • PhD students studying public-private sector relations in policy and management are also eligible.
