Award

Applicants must: Have an offer (or pending application) for a Masters/PhD in Agriculture starting 2026/2027, at an institution in the British Islands Hold (or expect) at least a 2:1 or first-class degree in agriculture or a related subject Study at least one of the following four areas as the main part of their course: Application of science and innovative technologies to enhance productivity, efficiency, and profitability for UK farming businesses Building resilience and safeguarding the physical and mental wellbeing of those living and working in UK agriculture Tackling the risks of climate change while maintaining food security to improve sustainability of UK agriculture Identifying opportunities to support nature and biodiversity in farming and land management practices in the UK Demonstrate a genuine passion for UK agriculture and proven experience engaging with UK farmers Show potential to become a future leader within UK agriculture Explain how the postgraduate course supports their career aspirations.
