The American University in Cairo (AUC) offers financial assistance to study abroad students who are visiting AUC from their home institutions, as well as international non-degree students who enroll in AUC courses but are not currently pursuing a degree.

Eligibility for Hermann F. Eilts Scholarship

• Applicants must be enrolled in a University in the United States.
• For one semester, applicants must pursue Middle East studies, political science, or history at the American University of Cairo.
• Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.2.
• Applicants must have achieved at least 12-15 credit hours during the semester of the award.
• Applicants must demonstrate academic excellence.

Value of the Scholarship
