The Unnathi Scholarship for Overseas Studies aims to provide talented and meritorious students from the Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) communities of Kerala the opportunity to pursue postgraduate or higher-level studies abroad.

Eligibility Criteria for Unnathi Scholarship for Overseas Studies (Kerala)

• Applicants must: Be a resident of Kerala and belong to the SC or ST community of Kerala.
• Have secured at least 55% marks (or equivalent) in the qualifying examination (as per university criteria).
• Be below 35 years of age at the time of application.
• Not be a government employee or employee of any public sector undertaking.
• Apply according to the scheme’s process before admission to the foreign institution; applications after securing admission through other procedures are not eligible.
• The scholarship is to be awarded for only one program/course of study abroad.
