The residence allowance is 100.64 euros and belongs to a pupil or student who: has a permanent residence more than 25 km away from the place of education, if the cost of rent is at least 65 euros per month, and the scholarship holder or his parents do not own the property in the place of education if he does not receive a subsidy for living in a student dormitory or a private one and does not have a contract for living in a student dormitory, which is in accordance with the regulations governing the subsidizing of accommodation for students. The allowance becomes effective when the scholarship holder's temporary residence changes. The allowance for scholarship holders with special needs amounts to EUR 62.90 euros and belongs to the scholarship holder who: he has been recognized as disabled or physically handicapped on the basis of a decision of the Pension and Disability Insurance Institute of the Republic of Slovenia or the Employment Service of Slovenia (the parent is granted childcare allowance in need of special care and protection), is aimed at a tailored education program with a lower educational standard.
