The Edgeworth Graduate Student Scholarships at Maynooth University are offered to students enrolled in an eligible program in the Department of Economics.

  • Eligibility Criteria for Edgeworth Graduate Student Scholarships at Maynooth University 2026: Applicants may come from any nationality.
  • Applicants must either be enrolled in the one-year MSc Economics program OR Be a two-year Economics student who excelled in the first year of their program.
  • Applicants ( One-year MSc candidates ) must meet the entry requirements for the MSc in Economics program.
  • Applicants must achieve a minimum 2.1 overall result in their honors undergraduate degree to be eligible for the scholarship.
  • Applicants ( Two-year MSc candidates ) must complete the first year of the MSc degree program.
  • Applicants must achieve a minimum 2.1 overall result in their first year to be eligible for the scholarship.

Application Process

  • All eligible candidates must apply for the MSc Economics Programme in the Department of Economics via the online portal PAC. They must submit a short statement (approx. 150 words) on why the candidate requires the scholarship and highlight the motivation behind opting for the MSc in Economics program.
