The International Postgraduate Taught Merit Scholarship 2025 offers a competitive award of £10,000 towards the original tuition fee for a postgraduate taught programme starting in September 2025. This scholarship is available to new international students who meet the eligibility criteria and hold an offer to study at the University of Sheffield. Eligibility Criteria You must have an offer to study a full-time postgraduate taught programme at the University of Sheffield starting in autumn 2025. Distance learning courses, Crossways, Erasmus Mundus, and programmes with higher clinical fees are not eligible for this scholarship. You must be self-funded and required to pay overseas tuition fees. Sponsored students are not eligible. This scholarship cannot be combined with certain other scholarships, including the International Postgraduate Taught Scholarship 2025 and the GREAT Scholarship 2025.

• If you fail to meet the conditions of your offer or change your programme, the scholarship may be forfeited.
• The scholarship can be applied in conjunction with some departmental or faculty scholarships, subject to conditions.
