To be eligible, an applicant must:- be a girl student enrolled in a Government or Private Aided First Grade College (Arts/Commerce/Science) have passed the previous examination in the first attempt have studied in a government school from Class 1 to Class 7 have secured the following minimum marks in the previous exam: Urban General Category: 50%

Rural Colleges: 45%

SC/ST (Urban & Rural): 45%

- For renewal, the student must pass all semester exams on the first attempt.
