Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must:- be an Indian citizen be enrolled as a regular/full-time Ph.D. research scholar in Government/Aided/University Departments or affiliated research centres not be receiving any other fellowship from UGC (JRF, MANF, RGNF, PMRF), Government of India/State Government, or any other funding agency not be a part-time, external, or distance mode scholar

Note

- Students must register in a Ph.D. programme during the January 2025 or July 2025 session.

Benefits

The CM Researcher Scholarship offers ₹10,000 per month for up to three years, disbursed biannually in June and December upon submission of required reports and certifications.

How to Apply

Eligible applicants can apply by following these steps

  2. 2Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details ( Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
  3. 3Download the application form attached at the end of the document.
  4. 4Fill in the required details and attach the required documents.

S tep 5: Submit the application through the forwarding officer (Principal/Nodal Officer/Institution Head).

Selection Process

Selection will be based on post-graduate marks and academic merit of the basic course, along with the fulfilment of prescribed eligibility requirements.

  • Passport-size photo & signature
  • Attested copy of post-graduation mark list
  • Copy of Aadhaar card
  • Consent letter from the guide
  • Attested copy of Joining Report
  • Affidavit certified by the guide stating that the applicant is not receiving any other fellowship
  • University registration order copy
  • Bank passbook
