A one-time assistance of up to ₹40,000

To be eligible, an applicant must:- be a permanent resident of Assam be a full-time Research scholar from a public/government institution in Assam be admitted to a Ph.D. program in 2025 not be a beneficiary of Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina Scheme not be receiving high-value scholarships or benefits under other schemes (e.g., UGC JRF, CSIR) have an annual family income not exceeding ₹10 lakh

• Applicants must not be employed.
• Parents of the applicants must not be employed in Public Offices (MLA, MPs or Ministers).
• Parents of the applicants must not be registered as contractors.
