To be eligible, an applicant must:- be domiciled in Maharashtra be studying at pre-matric level in government, government-aided, or private non-aided schools in Maharashtra belong to a Below Poverty Line (BPL) category family have parents working in an unclean occupation

• Students must have passed the previous class to qualify for the scholarship.
• Students from all boards except those attending self-financing schools are eligible.
• To be eligible for this scheme, there is no income limit.

The selected candidates will receive the following benefits

• Particulars
• Amount Per Month (for 10 months)
• Day Scholars ₹110
• Hostellers ₹700

The students will receive an ad hoc grant in the following manner

• Particulars
• Grant for Books and Study Material
• Day Scholars ₹750
• Hostellers ₹1,000

• The maximum benefit duration is 10 months; if a student attends school for less than 10 months, they will receive payments only for the number of months they were enrolled in school, starting from their admission date.
• Disbursement will happen in one instalment.
