To be eligible, an applicant must:- be a resident of Maharashtra belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) community be studying in Classes 1 to 10 in government, government-aided, or private non-aided schools in Maharashtra belong to a Below Poverty Line (BPL) category family have passed in all subjects in the previous academic year

• Students must have passed the previous class to qualify for the scholarship.
• To receive the second instalment of this scholarship, applicants should have at least 60% attendance in the current academic year.
• Students from all boards except those attending self-financing schools are eligible.

The selected candidates will receive the following benefits

• Class
• Amount Per Month (for 10 months) 1-4 ₹100 5-7 ₹150 8-10 ₹200

• The maximum benefit of the scholarship is for a duration of 10 months.
• If a student attends school for less than 10 months, they will receive payments only for the number of months they were enrolled in school, starting from their admission date.
