Azim Premji Health Equity Fellowships 2026 is open to Medicine students in the field of Medicine. This scholarship is provided by Azim Premji Foundation and the value of this scholarship is ₹40,000 per month and other benefits.

Eligibility

  • To be eligible, an applicant must:-
  • be a postgraduate doctor in one of the following: Family Medicine
  • Community Medicine
  • General Medicine
  • Obstetrics and Gynaecology
  • Paediatrics
  • General Surgery
  • Anaesthesia
  • Ophthalmology
  • Orthopaedics and Psychiatry
  • have graduated between 2018 and 2025
  • be proficient in English and Hindi (regional language proficiency is a plus)
  • be willing to relocate to rural/underserved areas for 18 months
  • display commitment towards public health and equity

Benefits

Selected fellows will receive:- ₹50,000 monthly and an additional payout of ₹1,80,000 every six months

Visit various remote areas throughout the country
