Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

For Junior Research Fellow (JRF) not exceed the age of 28 years hold a first-division B.E./B.Tech degree in Electronics/Communication/Computer Science with NET/GATE qualification, OR hold a first-division M.E./M.Sc./M.Tech degree in Electronics/Communication/Computer Science/Chemistry with CSIR-UGC (NET), MHRD (GATE) or JEST qualification

For Research Associate (RA) not exceed the age of 35 years hold a first-division Ph.D degree in Physics/Electronics, OR have 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after a postgraduate degree in Physics/Electronics or related area, with at least one research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI) Journal

Note

- Age is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST/PwD and 3 years for OBC applicants.

Benefits

The selected students will receive:-

Junior Research Fellow: ₹37,000 and HRA, as per DRDO rules.

Research Associate: ₹67,000 and HRA, as per DRDO rules.

Note

-
The tenure for both positions is 2 years. JRF fellows have the opportunity to receive an upgrade to Senior Research Fellow as per DRDO rules.
