Overview

Eligibility

• Eligible nationalities: Open to all except German nationals
• Applicants must be admitted to Universität Hamburg.
• Applicants must identify as internationals.
• Applicants must not be eligible for the federal student loan scheme.
• Applicants must be preparing for or are in the final examination phase of their studies.
• Applicants must demonstrate genuine financial need (proof required).

Benefits

Selected candidates are awarded a sum ranging between EUR 200 to EUR 855 per month.

• Interested candidates must submit an online application.
• The application should include the following documents: CV, Reason for the application, A schedule detailing all steps leading to the final examination, Scanned copy of the bank statements: For the 1 June application deadline, bank statements from 1 March-31 May are required; For the 1 December application deadline, bank statements from 1 September-30 November are required. An evaluation from the supervisor of the final thesis.
