Eligibility

  • To be eligible, an applicant must:-
  • be at least 18 years old
  • be a resident of India
  • be enrolled at the beginning of the second year of a postgraduate (M.Tech./M.Sc.) program in Geoinformatics or a related field that involves: Remote sensing
  • Spatial modeling
  • Spatial analysis
  • Digital image processing for GIS and similar subjects

Benefits

A total of 10 selected students will receive an annual scholarship of ₹1,00,000. Additionally, they will receive an ArcGIS Personal Use License valid for 1 year.

How to Apply

Eligible candidates can apply for the opportunity by following these steps:-

  1. 1Click on the 'Apply Now' button.
  2. 2Click the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. ( Note: If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID.)
  3. 3Navigate to 'Application Procedure' and download the application form through the given link.
  4. 4Complete the required details, attach the necessary documents, and get the form signed by the student, Head/Dean/Director of the Institute/University, and stamped by the institution.
  5. 5Again, navigate to the Application Procedure' and click on the ‘Application Portal’.
  6. 6Fill in the required details and upload the necessary documents, and then click on the ‘Submit’ button.

Selection Process

  • Applications will be evaluated by a selection committee. Institutes/Universities will be notified of the shortlisted applicants, who will be invited to participate in a virtual interview.
  • The final selection will be based on the interview results and a review of all submitted application materials.
  • The decision of the selection committee regarding the scholarship awards will be final.
