The objective of The MSc Merit Based Scholarships for non-UCD Students / Graduates, 2024 is to support and encourage students with excellent academic merit and outgoing personalities to enroll at the University.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must be graduates of an Irish Higher Educational Institution or will graduate in the summer of 2025.
  • The candidate must hold a mid-Hons 2.1 (65%) or above degree result or be in a position to achieve 65% or higher in their Bachelor Level 8 Honours degree and have completed their degree in full in the summer of 2025.
  • International applicants must contact the university office before applying for the scholarship.
  • Scholarships are for the full-time Taught Masters MSc Programmes only.
  • Applicants who already commenced their academic session are ineligible.
  • Taught Masters Scholarships will be given to applicants who have a mid-Hons 2.1 degree or higher and have submitted two high-quality essay questions as part of their application.

Application Process

Candidates are not required to submit separate applications to be considered for the scholarships.

Value of the Scholarship

The successful applicants are awarded EUR 2,000 towards the tuition fees of the program the student has applied for.
