Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must:- be a female currently studying in classes 1 to 10 in a recognised school/institution have secured at least 60% marks or equivalent in the previous academic year have a monthly family income of less than ₹25,000

Note

- Marks criteria can be waived for physically disabled female students.

Benefits

300 selected girl children across India will receive ₹5,000 each annually.

How to Apply

Eligible candidates can apply by following these steps:-

  1. 1Click on the 'Apply Now' button.
  2. 2Click the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. ( Note - If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID)
  3. 3The students are requested to contact the school for nomination to apply for the opportunity.

  • -
  • The schools will send a proposal recommending a female student for the scholarship.
  • The school will send the duly signed recommendation by the Head Master/Headmistress/Principal to SOF at the address:
  • Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF)
  • Plot no. 99, 1st Floor, Sector - 44,
  • Gurugram - 122003
  • The school must submit a copy of the student's previous year's report card, duly certified by the principal, along with the GCSS form.

Selection Process

  • The selection committee of SOF will evaluate all recommendations sent by the schools.
  • A final list of deserving candidates will be prepared, and they will be informed individually through their respective schools.

Documents Required

  • A signed copy of the previous year's report card from the recommending school's principal.
