Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must:- be an Indian national be domiciled in Uttarakhand belong to the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category be studying in Class 11 and above in a recognised university, technical, management, or medical institution have passed the previous year's examination have a family income of less than ₹2,50,000 per annum

Note

- Students should not be enrolled in more than one institution.

Group 1 a) Degree and Postgraduate level courses including M. Phil., Ph.D. and Postdoctoral research in Medicine (Allopathic, Indian and other recognized systems of medicines), Engineering, Technology, Planning, Architecture, Design, Fashion Technology, Agriculture, Veterinary & Allied Sciences, Management, Business Finance/Administration, Computer Science/ Applications.
b) Commercial Pilot License (including helicopter pilot and multiengine rating) course.
c) Postgraduate Diploma courses in various branches of management & medicine.
d) C.A./I.C.W.A./C.S./I.C.F.A., etc.) M. Phil., Ph.D. and Post Doctoral Programmes (D. Litt., D.Sc., etc.)

Group 2 a) Graduate/ Postgraduate courses leading to Degree, Diploma, Certificate in areas like Pharmacy (B Pharma), Nursing (B Nursing), LLB, BFS, other para-medical branches like rehabilitation, diagnostics etc., Mass Communication, Hotel Management & Catering, Travel/Tourism/Hospitality Management, Interior Decoration, Nutrition & Dietetics, Commercial Art, Financial Services (e.g. Banking, Insurance, Taxation etc.) for which entrance qualification is minimum Sr. Secondary (10+2)
b) Postgraduate courses that are not covered under Group-I (e.g. M.A./M.Sc./M.Com./M.Ed./M. Pharma, etc.) 820 530
Group 3 All other courses leading to a graduate degree that are not covered under Group I & II (e.g. BA/BSc/B Com, etc.) 570 300
Group 4 All post-matriculation level non-degree courses for which the entrance qualification is High School (Class 10), e.g. senior secondary certificate (Class 11 and 12); both general and vocational streams, ITI courses, 3-year diploma courses in polytechnics, etc. 380 230

How to Apply

Eligible applicants can apply by following these steps:-

1Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
2Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. ( Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
3Navigate to the 'Students' option on the left-hand side of the dashboard and click on it.
4Now, click on the 'Login' button under the OTR option, as it is required to apply for a scholarship on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).
5Read the details carefully, tick the checkbox, and click on the 'Next' button.
6Enter a functional mobile number, captcha code, and OTP, then submit to complete the registration process.
7Enter your/parents/guardian Adhaar/EID number and click ‘Get OTP’ for eKYC.
8Enter the OTP and click on ‘Verify’. Then click on ‘I Agree’.
9Enter all the mentioned details and click on ‘Finish’ to complete the 'One-time registration (OTR)' process. (Note:- This is a temporary registration number; students need to download the OTR mobile application for face authentication to complete the OTR process.)
10After successful registration, navigate to the 'Apply for Scholarship' option and click on the 'Login' button.
11Fill in the required details and click ‘Login’ to proceed with the scholarship application.

Note

All the applicants are advised to fill in the information correctly on the application form.
Once the application is submitted, no changes can be made.
Additionally, submitting multiple applications will result in disqualification.
