Eligibility

  • To be eligible, an applicant must:-
  • be a domicile of Maharashtra
  • belong to the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category of the state
  • have passed Class 10 from a recognised institution
  • have an annual family income of not more than ₹2,50,000
  • not have a gap of more than 2 years in their formal education

Benefits

  • The selected students for this scholarship program will receive the following maintenance allowance and other grants:-
  • For Hostellers/Day Scholars: Group 1: ₹550 to ₹1,200
  • Group 2: ₹530 to ₹820
  • Group 3: ₹300 to ₹570
  • Group 4: ₹230 to ₹380
  • Reader Allowance: Group 1-2: ₹240
  • Group 3: ₹200
  • Group 4: ₹160
  • Escort Allowance: ₹160 per month
  • Special Pay: ₹160
  • For Mentally Retarded, Extra Coaching: ₹240 per month
  • Study Tours: ₹1,600 per annum
  • Thesis Typing/Printing: ₹1,600 per annum
  • Book Grant: ₹1,200 per annum

How to Apply

Eligible applicants can apply by following these steps:-

  1. 1Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
  2. 2Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. ( Note: If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
  3. 3Click on the blue colour register button. Fill in your Aadhaar number, tick the check box and click on 'Send OTP'
  4. 4Verify the OTP you receive and complete your registration.
  5. 5After successfully registering on the portal, click on the 'Applicant login' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
  6. 6Log in using the username and password.
  7. 7Fill in the necessary details, upload the required documents, and submit.

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected based on the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria.

  • Caste validity certificate mandatory for selected professional courses
