Benefits
Selected scholars will receive a monthly stipend of ₹15,000 for a maximum of 10 months per academic year. The scholarship is awarded for a total duration of two years of postgraduate studies.
How to Apply
Eligible applicants can apply by following these steps:-
- 1Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
- 2Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
- 3Navigate to the 'Students' option on the left-hand side of the dashboard and click on it.
- 4Now, click on the 'Login' button under the OTR option, as it is required to apply for a scholarship on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).
- 5Read the details carefully, tick the checkbox, and click on the 'Next' button.
- 6Enter a functional mobile number, captcha code, and OTP, then submit to complete the registration process.
- 7Enter your/parents/guardian Adhaar/EID number and click ‘Get OTP’ for eKYC.
- 8Enter the OTP and click on ‘Verify’. Then click on ‘I Agree’.
- 9Enter all the mentioned details and click on ‘Finish’ to complete the 'One-time registration (OTR)' process. (Note:- This is a temporary registration number; students need to download the OTR mobile application for face authentication to complete the OTR process.)
- 10After successful registration, navigate to the 'Apply for Scholarship' option and click on the 'Login' button.
- 11Fill in the required details and click ‘Login’ to proceed with the scholarship application.

- All applicants are advised to fill in the information correctly on the application form.
- Once the application is submitted, no changes can be made.
- Additionally, submitting multiple applications will result in disqualification.
Selection Process
- The selection will be based primarily on the academic merit of candidates, with some exceptions.
- Reservations: Government of India reservation policies will be applied. Additionally, 30% of the remaining slots will be reserved for female candidates.
- Subject Area Distribution: 50% of the slots will be earmarked for Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, Law, and Management programs. The remaining 50% will be reserved for Science, Engineering & Technology, Medical, Technical, and Agriculture/Forestry programs.
- Tie-Breaking: In case of a tie (multiple candidates with the same UG marks), the selection will be based on their marks secured in undergraduate (UG) degree, starting from the lowest score on the merit list.
- Final Shortlisting: If there are still more candidates than available slots after considering UG marks, the selection will proceed based on marks obtained in the 12th class.
