Eligibility

  • To be eligible, an applicant must:-
  • be an Indian citizen
  • be 25 years of age or below (born on or after June 1st, 1999)
  • hold a bachelor's degree in any academic discipline

Benefits

The selected LAMP fellows will receive a stipend of ₹23,000 per month. Additionally, the fellows will get an opportunity to work as full-time professionals with Members of Parliament (MPs) during the fellowship.

How to Apply

Eligible candidates can apply for the fellowship through the following steps:-

  1. 1Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
  2. 2Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
  3. 3Navigate to the ' How to Apply ' section on the left-hand side of the dashboard and click on the provided link for the application form (via Google form).
  4. 4Open the application form and read the instructions carefully.
  5. 5Complete the application form by providing the personal information, academic qualification, work experience (if applicable), languages known, and the two essays (500 words each).
  6. 5Acknowledge the terms and conditions by ticking the checkboxes.
  7. 6Click on the 'Submit' button.

Selection Process

  • Along with their application, the applicants will be assessed based on the submission of the following two documents:
  • Statement of Purpose justifying their candidature for the fellowship
  • An essay analysing any issue and the related policy implications
  • After reviewing the application and submitted documents, an online evaluation test and interviews will be conducted by PRS for the final selection of the fellows.

  • Academic certificates/marksheets/diploma
  • A 500-word essay justifying the candidature for the LAMP fellowship
  • A 500-word essay analysing any issue and the related policy implications
  • Details of work experience/internships/volunteer work (if applicable)
