Eligibility

  • To be eligible, an applicant must:-
  • be permanent residents of a developing country (including India), other than Pakistan
  • hold a PhD in the field of natural sciences
  • apply for the fellowship within 5 years of obtaining a PhD degree
  • not be more than 45 years of age on 31 December of the application year
  • not hold a visa for permanent or temporary residency in any developed country
  • be regularly employed and hold a research assignment in a developing country (other than Pakistan)

Benefits

The selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend covering living costs ( Note: - The monthly stipend will not be convertible to foreign currency.)

Eligible candidates can apply by following these steps:-

  3. 3Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the ‘Apply Now’ button.
  4. 4Fill in all the mentioned details, tick the check boxes, and click on the ‘Create account’ button.
  5. 5Log in to your account with your email and password and proceed with the application.

  • Certificate of good health from a qualified medical doctor
  • Preliminary Acceptance Letter from NCP
  • Two recommendation letters
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Copy of last degree
  • Outline of research proposal
  • Evidence of English proficiency (if the medium of education was not English)
