Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must:- be a sportsperson be aged between 14 to 24 years as on 31st March 2025 have been playing for the last two to three years at sub-junior or national level

Chess
Badminton
Kho Kho
Table Tennis

Note

-
No other games will be entertained under this scheme.
For the open category, there are 97 scholarships.
For wards of Airport Authority of India (AAI), there are 20 scholarships.

Benefits

The selected candidates will receive benefits in the following manner:-

Level

Amount per Month

Sub-Junior/Junior/Youth Nationals ₹22,000

Sub-Junior/Junior/Youth Internationals ₹25,000

Senior Nationals ₹30,000

Senior Internationals ₹35,000

The selected sportspersons will also receive a monthly medical insurance of ₹1,000.

Note

- The duration of the AAI Sports Contract Scheme will be one year.
