Financial assistance of up to ₹40,000

To be eligible, an applicant must:- be pursuing courses for a maximum duration of 5 years from institutions located in Goa and affiliated recognising authority have passed Classes 10, 12, diploma (as applicable) and/or last qualifying examination from an institution in Goa have an annual family income of less than ₹5,00,000 from all sources

• Students who have completed graduation from Central University, NIT, IIT, IIM etc. are also allowed to apply for post-graduation under this scheme.

Non-Eligibility

Students who are beneficiaries of the Interest-Free Education Loan Scheme cannot apply for this scheme.

Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:-

2. 2Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details ( Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
3. 3Navigate to Scheme Notification at the end of the page and click the ‘Download’ button.
4. 4On the official website of GEDC, click ‘The Bursary Scheme for the academic year 2023-24 and 2024-25 is now open’ link.
5. 5On the page of Bursary details, click ‘Link to download the Bursary Scheme Application Form’ placed in a red tab at the end of the page.
6. 6Download, print, and fill out the application form.
7. 7Attach all the relevant documents and submit the application form to the GEDC office between 10.00 am to 12.00 pm and 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm by 17th March 2025.
