Applicant must be a self-funded, full-time, degree-seeking student.
Applicant must have earned at least 12 credit hours at ESU.
Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
Applicant must be able to support student orientation activities and attend required training sessions.
Applicant must demonstrate previous leadership experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

Applicants are expected to actively represent Emporia State University during New Student Orientation, engage with new international students, and assist with selected OIE events throughout the semester.
Applicant must attend two orientation training sessions as scheduled by the Office of International Education. Each training session may last approximately 4–8 hours.
Applicant must lead a group of international students during International Orientation.
Applicant must assist with OIE-hosted events for approximately 20 hours per semester, including logistical event planning, marketing, outreach, event setup, and event teardown.
