Eligibility Criteria of NDARC Scholarships at University of New South Wales

• Applicant must meet UNSW requirements for enrolment in a Higher Degree Research Program.
• Applicant must meet residency and visa requirements.
• Applicants must have applied or are in the process of applying for an externally-funded HDR scholarship.
• Applicant must not be concurrently enrolled in a separate HDR program at either UNSW or another university during the tenure of the NDARC-based candidature.

Interested candidates must submit the online application form. Applications for scholarships are considered throughout the year.

Value of the scholarship

• Full-time HDR students are awarded AUD 37,684 per annum, tax-exempt.
• For professional development activities, AUD 10,000 is granted.
• For associated research costs, AUD 5,000 is granted.
