The Teacher Residency Program is designed for individuals who are passionate about teaching and committed to working in the SJSU service area. To be eligible, candidates must have a strong interest in launching their teaching careers locally, ideally in the districts affiliated with SJSU. Applicants must have completed a bachelor's degree or its equivalent and meet all requirements to enter a credentialing program. Local candidates are prioritized, making this opportunity particularly ideal for those interested in staying within the region to teach and grow professionally.
