Eligibility

This scholarship is available to admitted first-year students who are recognized by the College Board’s African-American Recognition, Hispanic Recognition, Indigenous Recognition, or Rural and Small Town Recognition programs.

Application Process

• RIT will receive confirmation of eligibility from the College Board’s National Hispanic Recognition Program (NHRS).
• Students must be recognized in one of the specified categories to be considered.

Value/Benefit

• The scholarship provides $2,000 per year ($1,000 per semester) for full-time enrollment in required coursework.
• It is renewable and can be combined with other RIT merit-based scholarships.
