About the Scholarship

  • This scholarship, which was made possible by a contribution from Nancy Isabel McConnan, is available to students who are enrolled in the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music and who have financial need for the payment of fees, books, computers, or musical instrument purchases.

  • Connan Scholarship: Applicants must: Be enrolled in a Faculty of Fine Arts and Music course at the University of Melbourne. Provide evidence of financial need.

Selection Criteria

  • Eligible students are selected based on financial need. Conditions:
  • Students must be enrolled as full-time students in a course at the University of Melbourne.
  • Students may be eligible to receive this scholarship while enrolled as a part-time student.
  • This scholarship cannot be deferred to the following year.
  • Application Process: No application is required.
  • Students will be automatically considered for this award upon enrollment with the university.
  • Value of the Scholarship: Up to AUD 2,000 towards tuition fees.
