Scholarship value: Partial Funding, Maximum of USD 2,500 Emergency Scholarship Assistance, established through a generous gift from an anonymous foundation and matched by the Dean’s Excellence Fund, the Emergency Scholarship Fund provides College of Professional Studeis (CPS) students who are enrolled in a degree program (bachelors, masters, doctorate) who are experiencing a one-time financial crisis to apply for emergency financial support. Emergency Scholarships cover the cost of one course.

Eligibility Criteria for the Emergency Scholarship Assistance

  • The application is open to all nationals. Preference is given to students receiving aid from Free Application for Federal Scholarship Aid (FAFSA).
  • The students can be either from bachelors, masters, doctorate.

Application Process

  • If a student or his/her family experienced a significant change in financial circumstances and would like to be considered for emergency assistance, please complete the Emergency Scholarship Assistance Request Form.
  • Once completing the form, you may be asked to provide supporting documentation.
  • Copies of medical/dental bills.
  • Statement of insurance coverage.
  • Receipts for replacement of property.
  • Statement of unemployment benefits.
  • Copy of termination letter.
  • Value of the Scholarship: Awards will be a maximum of $2,500
