The University of Suffolk International Merit Scholarship is a program designed to recognize and reward international students who meet or surpass the University's published entry requirements, based on the country where they have previously studied. This scholarship is applicable for both undergraduate and postgraduate taught programs offered at the Ipswich campus of the University of Suffolk.

Eligibility Criteria

• Available to international applicants applying for undergraduate or postgraduate taught programs at the Ipswich campus.
• The scholarship is granted based on satisfaction or surpassing the University's published entry requirements, specific to the applicant's prior country of study.

Value of the Scholarship

• The International Merit Scholarship provides the following incentives: GBP 2,000 for applicants who meet the published entry requirements.
• GBP 3,000 for applicants surpassing the published entry requirements.
• For undergraduate students, the scholarship applies throughout each study year, excluding sandwich/placement/study abroad years.
• Postgraduate-taught programmes: £1,000 to applicants with a 2:2 (lower second) class equivalent bachelor’s degree. £2,000 to applicants with a 2:1 (upper second) class equivalent bachelor’s degree. £3,000 to applicants with a first class equivalent bachel
