Scholarship value: Full Funding, Up to HK$280,000 per year Sir Edward Youde Memorial Scholarships for Overseas Studies support outstanding students from Hong Kong to pursue overseas undergraduate studies, with the expectation that scholars will contribute to the development of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region after graduation.

Eligibility Criteria for Sir Edward Youde Memorial Scholarships for Overseas Studies

• Applicants must: Be permanent residents of Hong Kong.
• Have received at least five years of continuous full-time education in Hong Kong.
• Fulfil all admission requirements and procedures of their chosen overseas institution(s) and be offered a place.
• Be proficient in English and Chinese, and have good command of the language of instruction of their chosen programme.
• Indicate study plans that begin within one year of the award announcement (typically between April 2027 and March 2028).
• Value of Sir Edward Youde Memorial Scholarships for Overseas Studies: Up to HK$280,000 per year.
• The final award amount may be adjusted based on: Tuition fees Living expenses Other scholarships or financial aid received concurrently
