Eligibility for the International Excellence Scholarship

• Be international students commencing study at James Cook University (JCU) for the first time.
• Intend to study full-time in an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program.
• Meet the academic requirement: Undergraduate applicants: ATAR 65 or equivalent Postgraduate applicants: 65% or above achievement (where 50% is a pass mark) Not receiving full-tuition scholarships/sponsorships such as: Australia Awards SACM (Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission) funding Other full government scholarships Not be transferring from joint programs or applying as study abroad or exchange students.

Value of the Scholarship

The JCU International Excellence Scholarship provides a 25% tuition fee reduction throughout the entire duration of approved full-degree study programs, provided recipients maintain a strong GPA each semester.
