About the Scholarship

This grant is given to a student who is doing research in a department laboratory while enrolled in the first year of the School of BioSciences' Research Higher Degree in Genetics.

Eligibility for the Genetics Research Award

Students must be enrolled in the first year of a Graduate Research degree in the School of BioSciences in the discipline of Genetics.

Selection Criteria

Demonstrated research potential, measured by the strength of the proposed research project and its alignment to the discipline of Genetics; and Previous academic excellence as determined by course entry score.
