Eligibility Criteria for the University of Auckland Architecture Centenary

Award 2026

• Be enrolled in the thesis year of a Master of Architecture (Professional) program.
• Be domestic or international students.
• Demonstrate academic merit, with a minimum GPA of: 7.00 for most candidates 6.50 for Māori and Pacific candidates Undertake thesis research investigating innovative and interdisciplinary approaches to architecture and urban design in New Zealand.
• Nominated by the Head of the School of Architecture and Planning or a nominee.

Value of University of Auckland Architecture Centenary Award 2026

Value

$2,000 Paid in one lump sum in the third week of the first semester of enrollment in the thesis year.
