Eligibility Criteria for Frances Briggs Memorial Prizes in Plant Sciences at the University of Auckland 2025

• Junior Prize: Awarded to the best student in Stage I or II Plant Sciences courses.
• The student must be continuing to enroll in Plant Sciences courses in the following year.
• Senior Prize: Awarded to the best student in Stage III Plant Sciences courses.
• The student must be continuing to enroll in postgraduate study in Plant Sciences in the following year.
• Selection Criteria for Frances Briggs Memorial Prizes in Plant Sciences at the University of Auckland 2025: Nominations are made to the Scholarships Office.
• The best student for each prize is selected based on their GPA for the year.
• The final decision is made by the University of Auckland Council, following the recommendation of the Director of the School of Biological Sciences.
• Value of Frances Briggs Memorial Prizes in Plant Sciences at the University of Auckland 2025: Junior Prize – NZD $1,000 Senior Prize – NZD $1,500
