The College of Business and Law Scholarship for Masters by Research in Business at University College Cork: Applicants must: Be a current student at University College Cork (UCC). Be enrolling in a Masters by Research in any of the main disciplines of the Commerce Faculty. Meet the academic standards, as applications will be assessed based on marks obtained in the qualification used for entry into the Research Masters.

Application Process

  • Submit the application to the Research Committee of the Commerce Faculty through the relevant department. Evaluation is based on academic merit and availability of supervisor.
  • Student’s progress monitored; formal oral presentation required after 6 months.
  • Students may apply to progress to a PhD if their work meets the standard, but additional funding is not automatically guaranteed.
