Eligibility criteria for the Global Talent Masters Scholarship at University of Essex 2026

Applicants must: be overseas fee payers be entirely self-funded be ordinarily resident for at least 3 years in one of the eligible countries listed by the University of Essex hold an undergraduate degree or Master’s degree awarded by an institution in one of the listed countries or a UK degree meet the country-specific academic requirement listed (or a UK 2:2 or above) be registering for the first year of a taught Master’s programme at the University of Essex start studies in October 2026 or January 2027 study full-time or part-time on campus be available to participate in promotional activities if awarded

Value of Global Talent Masters Scholarship at University of Essex 2026

• Full-time study: £5,000 (deducted from Year 1 tuition fees) Part-time study: £2,500 in Year 1 + £2,500 in Year 2 Award is applied as a tuition fee reduction, not cash
• Application process: No separate application deadline
• Eligible applicants are automatically assessed when applying for admission for academic year 2026–27.

Full-time study: £5,000 (deducted from Year 1 tuition fees)

Part-time study: £2,500 in Year 1 + £2,500 in Year 2
