Eligibility criteria for the Cuth J Wilkins Prize

  • Applicants must have completed the requirements for an MSc in Chemistry at the University.
  • The prize is awarded by the University Council on the recommendation of the Head of the School of Physical and Chemical Sciences (or nominee).
  • In making the recommendation, the Head of School considers academic achievement in Part I and Part II of a program for an MSc in Chemistry.

Value/benefits of the Cuth J. Wilkins Prize

  • Successful applicants will get an amount of $1000.
  • Also, the recipient has the right to use the Emeritus Professor Wilkins MSc regalia at University of Canterbury graduation ceremony.
  • Application process: No application is required.
