The University of Leeds offers the John Gilbert Vause Memorial Scholarship to domestic, foreign, and EU students enrolled in the School of Medicine while completing their undergraduate internship. Two spots are available for this competition, which offers a GBP 500 payment.
Applicants must: Be a University of Leeds MBChB student Be undertaking an intercalated undergraduate degree at the University of Leeds Be studying within the School of Medicine Be enrolled in one of the following intercalated programmes: MSc Medical Imaging BSc Clinical Anatomy Be ranked the highest-performing student based on results from the most recent Integrated Summative Examination (ISE) Be in Years 1–4 of the MBChB programme (ISEs are taken annually) Not receive more than one award (if eligible for both, the higher-ranking award is granted, and the other is reassigned)
Recipients will be expected to write a thank-you note to the donor, or the donor's family, as appropriate, along with information on their study and program.
Successful candidates are awarded a sum of GBP 500
