The main purpose of the Spring Prize for String Players is to assist promising string players to further their performance studies at the University of Auckland.

• Eligibility Criteria for Spring Prize for String Players at University of Auckland: Applicants must be full-time string students.
• Applicants must have achieved the highest mark in MUS 221 Performance Skills 2.
• Applicants must be progressing to Stage Three courses in the Classical Performance major of the Bachelor of Music at the School of Music.
• Applicants must have achieved at least an A- grade as a minimum standard.
• Value of Spring Prize for String Players at University of Auckland: The annual value of the prize will be $1,500.

Application Process

No separate application is necessary. All eligible applicants will be automatically considered for the scholarship.
