The main purpose of the Musgrove Memorial Prize at the University of Auckland is to recognize and reward excellence in the study and/or performance of Shakespeare and 17th-century English Literature at Stage III or above.

Eligibility Criteria for the Musgrove Memorial Prize at University of Auckland

• Applicants must: Be a full-time student enrolled in Stage III of a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Arts (Honours), Master of Arts, or a PhD. Demonstrate outstanding achievement in the study and/or performance of Shakespeare or 17th-century literature, including but not limited to assessed marks or GPA.
• Value of the Musgrove Memorial Prize at University of Auckland 2025: The annual value of the Prize will be $1,400.

Application Process

No separate application is necessary. All eligible applicants will be automatically considered for the scholarship.
