The objective of the Women in Economics and Finance PGT Scholarship at Queen Mary University of London is to help address this situation by providing opportunities for women globally to continue with their studies in Economics and Finance.

Eligibility Criteria for Women in Economics and Finance Scholarship in Honour of Ghazala Azmat

  • To be eligible, applicants must: Be or identify as a woman Hold an offer for an eligible full-time postgraduate taught Master’s programme for September 2026 or January 2027 where applicable Achieve a minimum 2:1 Honours degree or overseas equivalent Meet all academic and English language entry requirements for the chosen programme Be fully self-funded Not be in receipt of any other University scholarship or full-fee external scholarship.
  • Repayable scholarship loans such as FIDERH, FUNED or COLFUTURO are permitted Be willing to contribute 30 hours during their studies to promote postgraduate studies in Economics and Finance and engage women and girls in the field Enrol in the 2026/27 academic year.
  • The scholarship cannot be deferred
  • Value of Women in Economics and Finance Scholarship in Honour of Ghazala Azmat: £6,000 deducted from tuition fees.
  • Application Process: No separate
