• Be an international overseas tuition fee‑paying student.
• Hold an unconditional offer for a full‑time postgraduate taught programme at Birkbeck University of London starting in January 2026.
• Be ordinarily resident in a qualifying region or country (South Asia/Central Asia, East/Southeast Asia, Turkey & Northern Africa,
• The Americas excluding Brazil, Sub‑Saharan Africa, or international students based in the UK).
• Be self‑funded and assessed as an overseas tuition fee payer.
• Provide a supporting statement of up to 2,000 words explaining why you are an ideal candidate and demonstrating that you can fund the remainder of your fees.
• Value of Birkbeck International Excellence Scholarships 2026 £3,000 tuition fee discount applied to the first year of study.
