The Geoffrey Powell Prize at the University of Auckland was established in 1985 by Professor R S Marsel in memory of the late Professor Geoffrey F Powell, DSO, MA, a visiting member of the Faculty of Law in 1972 and 1973.

Eligibility Criteria for Geoffrey Powell Prize at University of Auckland

The Prize will be awarded annually to the participant adjudged best mooter in the final of the Stout Shield Mooting Competition in the Faculty of Law

Value of Geoffrey Powell Prize at University of Auckland

One Prize will be awarded annually and will be of the value of $500.
