The aim of the Roger Oppenheim Memorial Prize is to recognize and reward outstanding achievement in sociological or criminological research at the Master's level.

• Eligibility Criteria for Roger Oppenheim Memorial Prize in Sociology and Criminology at University of Auckland: The scholarship is available to Master of Arts students.
• Applicants must be majoring/specializing in either Sociology or Criminology.
• Applicants must have completed the most meritorious 120-point sociological thesis by research in the previous academic year in the major/specializations of Sociology or Criminology.
• As a minimum standard, the student must have achieved at least an A- grade.

Value of the Roger Oppenheim Memorial Prize in Sociology and Criminology at University of Auckland

One Prize will be awarded annually and will be of the value of $1,500.
