The Habens Prize at the University of Auckland 2025 recognizes the student with the highest marks in a Master's Degree in Education within the Faculty of Education and Social Work, who has previously studied at an Initial Teacher Education Provider, particularly those from a Ministry of Education-recognized Training College.

Eligibility Criteria for Habens Prize at University of Auckland

• Applicants must: Have completed a Master's Degree in the field of Education.
• Have previously studied at an Initial Teacher Education Provider.
• Be considered if they completed study at a Training College recognized by the Ministry of Education.
• Have achieved a minimum of an A- average.

Value of Habens Prize at University of Auckland

One Prize will be awarded annually and will be of the value of $500.

Application Process

No separate application is necessary. All eligible applicants will be automatically considered for the scholarship.
