Applicant Regional/National/International standard within the last 12 months. Students should be part of a National Governing Body Performance Squad or equivalent.

Eligibility for the Sports Scholarships

The candidate must be enrolled at Newcastle University as a current student in any year of study or as an undergraduate or graduate applicant with a spot.
The candidate should be a member of the National Governing Body's (NGB) performance squads, or similar, and should have won senior or age group representative honors at the national and/or international level during the previous 12 months.
The applicant must pledge to progress in their sport and, if appropriate, represent the university in British Universities Colleges Sport (BUCS) competitions.
Have the ability to hit top 4 for individual BUCS events.
To be eligible for a scholarship, you must compete in one of the following Performance Clubs: American Football Badminton Basketball Fencing Football Golf Hockey Lacrosse Netball Rowing Rugby League Rugby Union Squash Table Tennis Tennis Volleyball Waterpolo If your sport is not listed above, you can still apply for sports funding.
