All overseas candidates who have previously attended Bangor University are eligible for a tuition fee reduction for any degree program that Bangor University now offers, as well as for themselves and their immediate family members (spouse, siblings, children, and grandchildren).

Eligibility for Alumni Scholarship at Bangor University

• Only open to students paying International Tuition Fee Levels.
• Applicants must be an international Bangor alumnus who has previously studied at Bangor University OR Applicants must be a family member (spouse/sibling/child/grandchild) of Bangor alumnus.
• Applicants must be self-funding or partially funded.
• Applicants who are fully sponsored by a third party will not be entitled to this scholarship.

Application process

• No scholarship application is required. When applying to Bangor University please mark clearly on the application form that you are eligible for the Bangor Alumni Discount.
• The outcome will be confirmed in the Offer Letter.

Value of the scholarship

£1,000 for each year of study, in addition to any other foreign scholarship given by Bangor University in the UK (not including the Vice-Chancellor grant).
